Very Berry Crisp

20160322_161110Yumm. I just love a simple berry crisp. You’ll find that some of my recipes are more on the “full of flavor” side, while others are strikingly simple. This one reminds me of hanging clothes on the line to dry in the middle of summer. Simple, peaceful, and wonderful.

I’m one of those people who loves berries all year round. That’s why I created a berry dish that can easily be made with fresh or frozen berries. Josh loves this recipe too. It has become a great after school treat.

The flaxseed meal is the dirty little secret here. It gives you that perfect “grainy” texture when mixed with the crisp topping.
